Founder and CEO
Seema Jain has more than a decade of experience transforming teams to become more culturally competent when engaging with people from different backgrounds. Bringing this expertise to Seva Global, her company offers a wide array of customized services including cultural trainings (virtual or in-person), webinars, presentations, speaking engagements, and consultations.
Most recently, as Senior Director of Multicultural Affairs at Marriott International, Seema was responsible for developing tools and resources to help global associates and hotel properties enhance their cultural competency in order to better serve the company’s broad diversity of guests and customers. She has more than 15 years of sales and customer experience.
Prior to joining Marriott, Seema spent several years in healthcare for Baxter and Caremark International, where she focused on acquisition analysis of physical therapy centers. She also founded a consultancy, where she prepared valuations for clients seeking to acquire physical therapy centers.

Seema earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University of Ohio and her Master of Business Administration from DePaul University in Chicago. She is a co-founder of two non-profit organizations: Supporting Excellence in Education Foundation (SEED), which awards scholarships to high school students, and Young Jains of America (YJA), a national youth organization created to share Jain heritage and culture.
Seema lives in Chicago with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and traveling.

LGBTQ+ Strategy & Business Development
Tim is a leader in the hospitality industry with over 40 years of experience. Throughout his career, Tim has worked tirelessly as a coaching catalyst to success with excellent communication and effective questioning skills. He is strategic in his approach with a focus on creative solutions and future possibilities.
Training and leading people are Tim’s passions and he has a strong ability to woo people and remove barriers to learning and success. In his last role with Marriott as Catering Sales Leader for the Northern Mid-America Region, he supported hotel leaders as the catering expert. Additionally, he was a long term trainer with the Marriott Sales Organization and promoted the importance of cultural competency in business and in personal lives. He has also held previous roles in Event Management, Hotel Sales Leadership and Food and Beverage Operations.
Tim is active in local LGBTQ+ organizations and looking to begin mentorship of students at St. Olaf College and hospitality schools.

Tim resides in Chicago. His interest include personal fitness, golfing, boating, handyman projects, and enjoying time with friends and colleagues.
Chief of Staff
Kyla Thomas is a 2023 graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in English. During her time at Spelman, she gained diverse experiences, including studying abroad and volunteering in South Africa and Cote d'Ivoire. These international experiences provided her with intercultural insights, a global perspective, and the creativity and organizational skills she later applied to her work with nonprofits supporting teens, advocating for systemic change in juvenile legal systems, and promoting equitable housing, economic wellness, and financial assistance for low-income households.
Kyla's passion for empowerment led her to found and lead a support and empowerment group at Spelman College for students whose mothers or mother figures have passed, a role she plans to extend outside of Spelman. She excels in crafting impactful newsletters and blogs, planning events and community projects, and designing graphics that enhance brand messaging for businesses.
Originally from Dallas, TX, Kyla now resides in Atlanta. She enjoys dance, writing, community engagement, outdoor activities, and travel, always seeking to broaden her experiences and understanding of different cultures. Committed to social justice and empowering minority communities, Kyla strives to make a positive impact both professionally and personally.
Operations and Design
Sanjana Jain is a recent graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. She majored in Information Systems, Digital and Social Media Business Applications, and Business Analytics. To further expand her passion for creative technology and business, she leads the branding and creation of marketing materials for Seva Global.

Sanjana has done digital marketing internships to learn more about the field, as well as freelance work in logo design and website creation.
​
At Indiana University, Sanjana had mentorship roles in the Kelley-to-Kelley Peer Mentor Program and Kelley Honors Leadership Team, and was a member of the Technology Consulting Workshop. She was also a captain of the university's Bollywood fusion dance team, Jhanak.

Sanjana loves learning about new cultures and enjoys traveling to further explore this passion.
Latinx and LGBTQ+ Business Development
Roberto is a passionate and results-oriented learning professional with a specialty in corporate facilitation. Helping others utilize their own knowledge and abilities to achieve their learning objectives is his primary goal. In his last role with Marriott as Performance Development Manager for the South Florida Region, he specialized in overseeing the performance development and learning delivery of brand and service-related subjects. His expertise is driven by over 12 years of experience in sales, operations, and customer experience.
Roberto is fluent in Spanish and English. He has been a co-presenter of numerous Culture Day and LGBTQ+ presentations since its inception. He is a vigorous advocate and shares our company’s founder and CEO passion for the importance of equality, cultural competency, and inclusion and diversity. He also has a deep desire in emerging the Seva Global expertise into the Latin America market.
Roberto lives in Miami, FL and enjoys turning up the heat practicing hot yoga, running half marathons, traveling, and boating. His hobby is being a Sneakerhead with an impressive Air Jordan collection.
Marketing and Communications Advisor
Emma Adelman is passionate and engaged as she works to make the world a better place. Creating commonalities, building bridges, and breaking down stereotypes are daily in her life.
Emma brings her experience from a variety of sectors including association management and consulting, the start-up nonprofit world, and one of the world's largest ski-holding companies. Her dedication to the project and desire to enhance her teams flowed throughout.
Emma lives in Washington, D.C. and enjoys exploring all that DC has to offer including its amazing museums and art scene, diplomatic relations, and amazing outdoors. In winter, you can find her skiing and watching ACC and UCONN women's basketball. She also loves experimenting in all culinary pursuits.
