Meet the Founder: Seema Jain | Founder/CEO
Seema Jain is the Founder and CEO of Seva Global and a recognized leader in cultural intelligence for business growth. Previously, as Senior Director of Multicultural Affairs at Marriott International, she created tools and programs that helped hotels better serve diverse guests, owners, and teams.
Her journey into cultural competency began in 2008, when she transformed an underperforming Residence Inn by tailoring the experience for Indian travelers—adding 2,000 room nights in three months and doubling Indian occupancy from 15% to 30% in a year. That success became a Marriott case study and led to her leading the company-wide Culture Day program.
In 2020, after 14 years at Marriott, Seema founded Seva Global to bring this strategic, results-driven approach to organizations beyond hospitality. Today, she helps companies across industries grow their businesses through cultural understanding—proving that cultural competency is both the right thing to do and a powerful business strategy.
